A 4-SESSION INITIATION + COURSE

Japa Initiation

ACTIVATING PRACTICE

Japa is a practice of refinement and integration.

We practice Japa with focused attention and intentional effort.  It serves as a clarifying tool - refining the intellect, strengthening the contemplative mind, and activating specific fields of awareness.

You do not need to be a Sri Meditator to benefit from this practice; Japa stands on its own as a deeply transformative technique that brings energy, focus, and devotional rhythm into your daily life.

Think of Japa as a subtle instrument that you can pick up when relevant & desired:

What is it

Unlike the foundational practice of Sri Meditation - Japa is active, chanting mantra out loud and using intentional repetition of specific mantras that carry meaning and potency.

In this practice, each mantra acts as a living current of consciousness, often linked to specific aspects of the Divine: God/Goddess forms that reflect distinct qualities such as wisdom, strength, compassion, or creative power. As we repeat these mantras, we attune to their corresponding fields of consciousness—subtle realms of God-consciousness or Goddess-energy that live both within us and beyond us.

Over time, Japa helps to refine the inner instrument of perception, bringing us into deeper alignment with these universal forces.

*The repetition of mantra is supported by a mala (a string of beads), which serves both as a tactile anchor and a sacred ritual of presence.

When you use it

Japa becomes a powerful complement to your daily Sri Meditation practice - a focused, intentional form of mantra repetition that can be used both as a dedicated 40-day Sadhana and as a daily or situational practice.

You’ll be guided to work with one God or Goddess mantra at a time, engaging in a 40-day Sadhana to cultivate a direct relationship with that specific field of consciousness. Once initiated, this practice becomes a living tool you can return to - used daily or when you seek clarity, energetic alignment, protection, devotion, or inner strength.

Japa is especially supportive when the mind feels restless, when you're moving through inner transitions, or when you wish to anchor your day with sacred rhythm. It weaves mantra into your breath, speech, and subtle awareness, carrying the power of your intention into all areas of your life.

How soon can you learn

You can start anytime. There are no prerequisites - this practice is open to all, whether or not you've been initiated into Sri Meditation.

Learning format

A set of four, 2-hour workshop sessions ( Either over four evenings or stacked on a 2-day deep-dive weekend).
